Wow, no relation to the browser eh? I really dig this, of course, its got fire in it so thats always a plus.
The sketchiness of the subject along with te softness of the fire is nice, but for some reason it makes me wish the fire was a little harsher. Its very reminescant of Lazzaretti's work though...and thats a good thing...if the fire was done with some harsher watercolors it would be spot on with his work, but then you'd be emulating someone else, and thats never good...but I dig this a lot...I'm not sure I get the fox ref though...looks more like a bat. I really like it, but, I don't know... the background looks a bit odd to me. Maybe it shuld be darker, or perhaps the shapes should be re-arranged... I'm not sure, but it looks a bit out of place... might just be me, of course. -- Usted baila como un hombre que vive como mujer. Ew, it's like a spider, helldog and bat all rolled into one.
Were you working on a low pallette? The dips and rises in colour in the background don't seem too smooth. -- ...a pathetic, adolescent fantasy which doesn't take into account the immense amount of responsibility and effort required to rule over an empire larger than any other. `Prince-des-Sots, on the fallaciousness of world domination |
