I'm always inspired by dreams, which is mostly what this piece is about. The first thing I'll do if I'm feeling uninspired is to flop down on my bed and cover my head with a pillow.. I tend to have recurring themes in my dreams, a lot of which I incorporated here (the setting itself, as well, is similar to a place that shows up a lot). The figure has her back turned to the viewer because human figures in my dreams tend to be vague; it's very rare that I'll have a clear look at a face while I'm dreaming.
On a side note, I'd just like to say I have the best watchers in the world.  Thanks to everyone who gave me awesome feedback on this piece, I appreciate it a million times over. I'm mostly finished with it at this point, but feel free to point out anything else that could be fixed up and I'll probably go back and tweak.  Comments
 Very cool. I definatly like the panaramicness (is that a word) of this picture as it adds to the piece greatly. Always nice work from you.

  It turned out great and I'm just thrilled that you took my advice in a lot of places. The only thing that even semi-bothers me is that the little blob of blanket all the way to the right still seems to lack some detail and definition. No biggy though.  -- I'm bringing back the word bitchin' one comment at a time. "I'm sorry, I don't read dumb." "Do not deal with this guy. He's nuts, and every bit as bad as the guy who told me to come." -- EmperorDinobot  I rather like how the blanket has a sort of faux-fur/shag carpet look to it now. I don't know why, but the notion of it amuses me.

I love it... It turned out so wonderfully I really like the blanket a lot... that texture looks marvelous on it... Makes me want to curl up with it... Definately!!! The water is so awesome. I love how you made it so choppy with the waves... There is something tranquil about even choppy sea. I love the way the sun comes through the clouds. The rocks turned out very nice too I think very realistic.  and I have always loved they way you are so good at doing hair on people... amazing.  -- Good fortune is the aphrodisiac of the hopeless.  *does the "awesome watcher" dance*
