I lost track of how many hours this @#$%! thing took me. This is the product of at least 60 hours of work, probably more. *twitch*
It's the Hanged Man card in a series of tarot card illustrations I'm working on, featuring the characters from my comic project. This particular one is Snowcrest, one of the villains. Obviously this isn't the whole card, just the illustration for it.. I'll be adding borders and text to them when I have them all completed.
Expect the next one in.. probably a month, lol. Oi.
Damn. The atmosphere in this is really cool. I love how the will-o-wisps provide the lighting! Very creative. If you're going to do the whole tarot card set with this kind of quality.... Wow, it might take a year or two, but it will be an incredible coplilation of work! Ganbate!
Awesome detail on everything! Especially the tattered rags and the faery sprites . I wonder, on the character itself, what took the longest? The hair? the skin? I just can't tell, its extremely good ^_^
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
